Yankee Pride Chihuahuas

has over the past forty years raised and shown both smooth and long coat Chihuahuas. 

I have been blessed to have known so many great breeders in the past years.

During our friendships I have had the chance to learn from the best and  purchased  very fine breeding  stock.  If I had not relocated all over the United States over the past thirty years, I believe the opportunity  would have been lost.  In  my breeding lines I value the Dorothy Pratt and Lorna Scousen Alorna line along from my own lines acquired from Charlie and Nina Leslie of Detroit, Michigan way back in the 1970’s.  My kennel  name in the beginning was Ja Dar and after a change in my life the name changed to Ja Cher and  with the passing of time Yankee Pride came to me from old friends.  I hope in the future that I am able to show and breed a very few litters and enjoy the breeds ever changing qualities and... Just Have Fun.
